Gold Rush 5K

First race in a while. Felt smooth until mile 3, but still had kick at the end to move up from 3rd to 2nd. A lot of very sharp turns and the course was slightly long. Overall, a fun race!

Race Start

Flo really wanted to run with me. What a sweetie. I let her know that when she's bigger, she can run these races with me all she wants. She looks forward to that :)

Finish!

I was really burning out on the last mile, but once I realized the finish was in sight, I suddenly found some extra burst in me and closed the distance between me and the 2nd place runner and flew to the finish!
